The purpose here is to have some fun, and (after an absence of 30 years), provide one person's personal insight of some great accordion times and great accordion people.
But the primary purpose here is not historical. There are very few dates and facts. Instead it is what these people were about, how they approached their music, how they evolved, what they thought was important. But above all, it is about the playing. The versatility of the instrument. And to be a part of the passion that inculcated everything about the US world of accordion in its golden years.
